How Storytelling Connects Us

"Storytelling is about connection, and I think when you get a group of people together, we may not always realize how connected we are, but that’s how we find out. Stories are the pathways/doorways into someone else’s experience and so you don’t really know what someone else has gone through until they, well, tell you. And then you don’t know how similar you are or how much you can help someone or how they can even help you until you hear a story like that."

So grateful to have been a part of this collaboration between the International Storytelling Center and the E Pluribus Unum fund and think through such meaningful questions.
