March 24-26: Women's Storytelling Festival

I'm performing at the People's Choice Storytelling Contest on Saturday of the 2023 Women’s Storytelling Festival! The festival starts at 7 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, and runs through the evening of Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Old Town Hall in Fairfax, VA. Though we are opening the festival weekend with a special, virtual only showcase of storytellers, and also plan to live-stream the festival, the majority of the performances will be in-person in Fairfax, VA, in front of a live audience.

“These stories were ‘different’ from a typical festival. Though spectacularly executed, these stories were not ‘for show.’ They were rich in deeply felt emotions, experiences and connection to story. Honestly this was the highlight of all the storytelling programs I’ve been watching. What a completely splendid festival!! Huzzah!! – KH
